Most of the time, life makes us make decisions that we regret later. Career decision is one of the things that we're forced to make when we're not yet experienced about life and thus one of these decisions. And when you got experience in the career you have, it becomed much more harder to get back from it. If you're lucky you're doing things that you love, otherwise you're unhappy doing what you do and you have to live it all the way till the end. 

Today I watched an online video about doing what you love and making that career decision. In this video Tom Kelley gives a snapshot of Jim Collins's (Author of 'Good to Great') thoughts on how to make this decision. In summary it says that; If you come up with something that's intersection of the circles shown below, you'll be happy, good at what you'll do besides making money out of it. The circles say...

'Good at': Things you're good at...
'Born to do' : Thing you think you're born to do... You can take a look at your childhood maybe as it was for Jim Collins. 
'Pay you to do' : What are you now paid to do... 
'Who' : With whom you'd like to work with...

I recommend to annotate what you come up with for all this circles and then come up with what you love...
